RAMPF’s EP-2306/EH-2901 Repair Paste and brown RAKU-TOOL Modeling Boards were designed complement to each other seamlessly!
RAMPF customized their EP-2306/EH-2901 epoxy adhesive to color match the density and hardness of their MB-0600, MB-0670 & MB-0720 brown boards. By color matching their adhesive to their modeling boards, it creates a consistent and smooth appearance as its applied to the tooling board. Color matching is a preferred practice bc it produces a uniform template, which is easier to process and cuts down time on finishing labor.
In addition to EP-2306/EH-2901’s good material consistency and ease of processing, it has a considerable open time of 35 minutes. Once this adhesive is applied to the board surfaces; clamp, vacuum bag or press uniformly over the bonded area to create a thin bond line. We recommend bonding up in the afternoon so you can mill first thing the following morning.
