How, you might ask? TARTLER has developed and patented Flowstop – a Self-Sealing Mold Connection

TARTLER’S Flowstop allows for mold to be filled without the risk and headache of backflowing material. The Flowstop can be integrated into the mold by the material collections area. As the material flow is generated by the mixer, the Flowstop opens and allows for material to enter the mold. When there is a stop in the material flow, the Flowstop seals itself automatically. The pressure remains in the mold and the material cannot escape when the mixer is pulled out. Now doesn’t that sound efficient?!? Added bonus, Flowstop is inexpensive, disposable and no cleaning is required.
